In my opinion, the truths they reveal should be achieved without the drugs, or the drugs should potentiate your knowledge. The common sentiment "drop out, turn on" seems absolutely ridiculous to me; you can't think properly when influenced by drugs. Some poeple are more sensitive to their spirituality. Wasn't it McKenna who said "drugs are for those who can't think for themselves?" Or perhaps someone else. Hoffman? Loading...
