Would have made life a lot easier had I known about it beforehand. :) But bitdamaged hit the nail on the head. Why didn't I think of that? I guess I thought that I had already set it to show all folders. Should have double-checked. Anyway, the bookmarks are there, right where I left them. Thanks for the help! Here's a followup question, though: my first attempt was to search the entire drive for files with "bookmark" in the title, yet it didn't turn up any of the bookmark files in this folder. Is that because it was hidden? And does that mean that hidden directories are not included in searches? I suppose I can see the point to that, but it was not something I had ever thought of before.
