Topic: google maps api puzzle - help? (Page 1 of 1)

here's the deal, plugged a google map into a page on a site I was developing at site.com, worked byoodifully fine and all but when we were ready to go live we did as planned and switched the DNS of the LIVE site at .ORG to the new server and just had .ORG mirroring the .COM that was already in place.

Well now when you go to the page with the map you'll get an alert that says it's the wrong domain, Google maps API was issued for .com and this is .ORG....

anyone got a clever way around this?

I'm sure there will be better/more feasible solutions to come along, but the first thing off the top of my head would be to open a socket, do a GET for the page on the .ORG site and grab the code for the map in question and display it on the .COM page.

Anyway, that's my hair brained scheme and I'm sticking with it.
