There seems to be a lack of colour, and it almost looks half-finished, I like the idea of pixel art, but some of the perspectives you've used are a little contradictory, for example the Technology link. The thinig about pixel art is that it's reminiscent of times gone by, older computer games and childhood. these were times when colours were vibrant and usually a little in your face (in a good way). I would try and experiment with more colour, go big and bold with your title not plain black. Maybe a thicker border would work better on your content area as well.
