UBB Help
I used to do it that way, but it completley falls apart when the user is doing multiple things at once with the same session. Using my method you can be browsing, submitting, registering, and using the help system at the same time with the same session, and still have everything work perfectly! It integrates nicely with the modern concept of tabbed browsing. Since ATIServer (my PHP powered webserver) serves tons of different domains and supports multidomain "network" logins, storing window related items in the users session db could be a serious problem :-) -Robur
