Using values like that for height can cause some wierd behavior. You might want to rethink how you have laid out the page, using absolute positioning like that wouldn't be my first choice for a way to layout the page. You might want to look at some CSS layout repositories for different ideas on how to achomplish the same thing using relative positioning.
