Oh gosh. I used to "love" this little, semi-free hex editor. Well, it's badly spywared now, anybody else tried and noticed, or it some widely spread info I've been missing? On installation, it adds loads of junk programs to one's system, "Ultra this and that", wether you pick those or not. Which is illegal in most states. A commercial involvement, especially a written one, a promise, is a promise by many many legislations. Aside of being stupid. Among horrors, it installs a great yahoo toolbar, and that one is bothering me. I've made the mistake of using IE tonight and finally noticed both the toolbar, and the "proxy" installed by U-Edit, something that very stupidly pushes adds in urls I click. Not pop-ups: getting commercials on my homesite even!! Back to Opera 9 beta, I feel *much* safer and the thing is not bugging me anymore. Ad-aware is running. And I am shocked *:(*
