Strange how I always thought the big name clubs played eachother a lot. Is there any sort of pride associated with playing with ones national league (i.e. a pressure towards playing in the English premier league if you're from England)? Is there any top tier national league that is considered more competitive than the others? Or are they all similarly balanced (American League vs. National League in baseball for example I guess).
