Oh my word!!! That is fantastic NoJive (and that's no jive ;) ) How beautiful is that? I just can't get over how blissfull it would be to have a sight like that on my doorstep, I'm stumped for another superlative to use. As you may be able to tell, I am a bit of a Pagan myself and I too only tend to celebrate these days of the year; They are Spring Equinox, Autumn Equinox, Summer and Winter Solstice. Neolithic sites such as Stonehenge act as gigantic solar calendars which marked the solstices and equinoxes and show that solar festivals have been significant dates for hundreds of thousands of years. The other four are points in the solar calendar, they have Celtic origins and are known by their Celtic names, Imbolc, Beltane, Lughnasadh and Samhain.
