And the first thing I thought of when I read the thread title was "Wow, that sure is a lot of mpeg files."

But dang... 3,145 miles per gallon? That comes out to (interestingly enough) 1337 kilometers per liter. I think I've got a 40 something liter tank in my car... that would allow me to travel over 50,000 kilometers on a single tank of fuel! Holy crap!

Of course, it would require me to travel alone, lie down while driving, and drive conservatively--three things I do not do now.

Still pretty cool though.

Yeah, but where's the 7 passenger seating? What kind of 0 - 60 time are we looking at? Individual climate controls, 2 DVD players? Navigation system?

Obviously we're not going to have commercially viable vehicles with this kind of design. But....if even a 10th of this level of fuel efficiency could be brought to market, it would be a revolution.
