Topic: Fund Raising "Puppets" (Page 1 of 1)

As you might (or more likely don't) know, this week is Ascot Week in Ascot (Berk, UK).
It is outrageously expensive to go there, but there are quite a lot of things going on around the event, and I thought I would try and take a few pictures.

Below is some example of English *bonkerness* I came across on my way to work; It is not completely readable, but the sign next to the "Queen" reads something like:

"For bets on the Queen's Horses
Please donate generously
Thank you!"



These "puppets" (or whatever you call them) are sometimes so realistic (from far) that it gets very confusing... and potentially dangerous for the drivers! I find them scary...

I am planning to go shooting this evening and tomorrow for the last day of the event, so I might add another series to this lot

Sure would make for some erratic driving; great stuff
