In the teaser, you see him looking up in the church, saying "Parker..." So guess what's going to drip on him as spidey tears it away above... In the comics, Peter Parker reveals that Eddie Brock was falsifying stories for the Daily Bugle, so he was fired and started a true hate for Parker that made him mentally unstable...and then the symbiote found him and the shared hate. Expect roughly the same in the movie. As for the symbiote coming from space : Wasn't J Jonah Jameson's son prominently featured as an astronaut in the last film...? FF2 will not be told as a crossover story, as the character licensing doesn't match up. FF2 is going to focus on the coming of Galactus, and has the officially working title "Fantastic Four 2 and the Silver Surfer" right now. For those in the know about the comics, and slightly about the films, look for Bruce Campbell coming into Spiderman3 playing : Quentin Beck grin This would have large repercussions on his roles in the last two films, as well as his role in the next one after Raimi's departure.
