Not sure where I should be posting this, but does anyone have some experience of some good software (free is a plus but not essential) which can convert PDF documents to Word?

Thanks in advance

Really? I though it only could convert to PDF, not from it, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, kimson, if poi's suggestion does not work, look in to Adobes online conversion tools. Converts PDF to TXT or HTML by just sending an e-mail with the PDF attached. I haven't tried it, but if it does some nice HTML output, there shouldn't be a problem to import it in a word processor I think. Not the cleanest solution maybe, but it'll probably work.

Add a license to the search and you can get even more friendly results.

I also have a sneaking suspicion that ImageMagick can convert file.pdf file.doc under the right conditions, but I may be hallucinating.

poi & HZR: both links are very interesting but not quite what I'm looking for, as it not for me but a consultant I work with; however, thanks a bunch for those links, it is all good to know!

reiso: thank you, this is more what I'm looking for, but I was hoping someone was actually using some specific software. Anyway, I have to dig into that ImageMagic thing, it looks brilliant!

Thank you all for your input
