when i click on the image in firefox, it produces a rectangle around the image (in FF but not in IE). |

That's a GUI thing - you can disable it for yourself easy, but not for other people. I know you can get around it with JavaScript, but that sounds naughty. |

I ran across this FF feature again, which shows the user where they are (where the focus is). code: a:focus {outline: none}
