I wasnt really aware of this at the time of ordering but I really should have gone with 4gb of ram build option as I am currently incurring a performance hit by the memory only operating in dual channel mode (266mhz instead of 533mhz that it SHOULD be, quite a bottleneck I think). I also think I should get a proper sound card (current is onboard) as I have noticed in cinema that when rendering using all 8 cpu threads, sound in the music app that I am playing (winamp or mplayer) becomes garbled... I think I have the nasty kind of onboard sound that dumps all the work on the processor :( Loading...
