Thats right, I said it.... One time in a million IE is displaying something correctly and Firefox isn't.

I have a DIV container on my page that basically calls up an include from a blog. The problem is that in Firefox the main body of the page (a table) doesn't stretch with the content and just lets the DIV container run out over the footer.
In IE the Table stretches along with the content of the DIV container.

View this in both and see what I mean.

Is there something brouswer specific I can add to make Firefox play nice or am I doing something really wrong and IE is just stupid enough to understand it?

I have ZERO web experience so all this has bee trial and error...

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Above and beyond all that, you have invalid XHTML markup, you can't expect things to work if you code your pages incorrectly.

The problem I have is I know NOTHING about what I'm doing. Its trial and error over here. I joined this group to learn. While I have extensive experience in Print design I haven't really ever gotten into the web design stuff.

I really appreciate the links reisio, and you can bet I'll read anything you give me. I have already taken a beating from the folks over and the "Nucleus" site about my tables so I guess its high time I started reading about the CSS stuff.

Thanks you guys.

I find http://www.w3schools.com/ to be very helpful when I'm asked to code a page.
It covers html, xhtml, and css with a lot of examples.
