The virus is running, originally, from a different file, and it's regenerating that file each time it's not where it is expected to be. There's some registry locations you can check to try and find the original file. HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/RunOnce HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Winlogon And I've just completely spaced on what the rest are, but if you can get copies of the keys contained in there, they may point to what the original file is.
