My first thought would be what reisio mentioned, just fixing the footer to the bottom. Secondly, I don't understand what the second sentence means: "the tree is behind the text and looks like crap"? Maybe I'm just being dense, but I'm finding it hard to wrap my head around the problem here. Oh, and it's nice to see you around here again.
