I've disabled Flash in IE at work because ads on certain sites I visit seem to frequently crash my browser. Now my problem is that whenever I visit a site that uses Flash I get this annoying bubble on the status bar: |

Dunno and it probably won't help you much, but if I were you I'd use a better browser. |

I can't install any new version of IE or update my current one because my company has that all locked down. |

Is your workstation completely locked or you can install applications and tweak some settings in the setup panel ? ( being at home on my french laptop I'm not sure if 'setup panel' is the right term in english ) |

Judging by the color depth, I am willing to believe he is running a terminal server session under a thin client, so I don't think he has a lot of liberties when it comes to control over the thing. |

The color depth has to do with the fact that I used MS Paint to save that screenshot as a gif. That's all I have on my workstation until I get Photoshop installed here pretty soon. |
