I have recently done a clean install of Win2KPro, due to some issues I couldn`t fix any other way. Some have recurred, the virii are gone. 1) My Intellipoint mouse software won`t operate unless I open the software dialog from the control panel first. 2) Standby and Hibernate modes..don`t. It wakes itself up withih 10 minutes or so. New (and most irritating) issue: Alert dialogs from helpfixpc.com and rclean.com. they pop up incessantly. I`ve run AVG(always in the background and everyday at 11:00) , Spyware Terminator, Adware, Spybot, Hijackthis, and doublekiller, (just in case) None have found anything but tracking cookies. And ZoneAlarm is running as well. Neither of their websites have any way to contact them. Any help would be most appreciated in solving these issues.
