Yes, I have a playground... I've been wanting to make one for quite some time. Since it's my playground, I can call it whatever I want, so I chose Happy Box. The name started from a box I use to contain my mice (not lab mice) when I have to clean their cage. On this box I drew a big grin on all four sides, I thought it looked cool so I used that for the name of my playground.

Ok, anyway, enough of my talking, let me introduce Happy Box:

Give any feedback, both good and bad! Please!

Looks pretty good. I like the happy box icon... very happy.

Minor quibble about the header text, though--the fade gradient at the top doesn't seem to jive with the solid happy box graphic on the left. I would just leave the text solid. I think would look more... happy!

The home page is rather empty at the moment. It almost doesn't look like a page at all with only one line of text there. I can't imagine what else you might put there, but if you're going to have a page, it should have some content, no?

As for the tools themselves, I think it would be nice if the text in the output box in the ASCII/Binary Converter wrapped rather than printed out in one long line that you have to scroll horizontally. The input box wraps, so why not the output box?

Code-wise, the <br class="ca" /> strikes me as a bit odd. All it does is clear floats, right? Why not just clear floats in your "content" and "menu_simple" definitions (and achieve the white space inherent in a break with bottom margins)? This is purely a presentation issue, and you shouldn't have to use an empty structural element to achieve this.

That's about it. I got very nit-picky here because it's a very simple design (which I like). Looking forward to seeing more fun toys in the Happy Box!

Oh, and if your mice ever give birth and you have a few extra, I'm conducting some... um... experiments where they might be useful.

A couple of misspellings on the bucket page

This bucket is used to temerarily store text. All tata is stored in the bucket.txt file.

I knew that before I posted, I just had no idea what to put in there... Perhaps something will come to me. If anyone has suggestions, please tell!

I added a checkbox to allow separation of each binary character.

I used a stylesheet and basic structure from a previous design I made which strongly required that special <br> tag. I fixed it and removed any unused classes in the CSS. (I left the img classes in there because I probably will use them for the content in the home page.)

I'll be glad to give you any offspring of my mice... because I'm not a mice breader and I'd hate for them to start multiplying. Though I really think it isn't possible since I believe (but not sure) I have a female (mother) and two males (brothers).

Thank you, Suho, for your help!

zavaboy: glad to be of service!

The header type looks a lot better, IMHO.

And I like the addition of the option to separate characters in the binary converter. It actually didn't occur to me at first that the reason it wrapped was because it was all one line. I guess I never had a line that long in a text area. Too bad there's no automatic line wrap function, huh?

As for what to put on the home page... a photo of your mice?

Good work all around. I'm impressed to see such a timely reaction. If only I could be so timely on my own festering web projects... *sigh*
