Topic: Weapon of choice?

Just curious what some of you are using for SLR these days. I'm thinkin about grabbin a 30D very soon but not sure what else to get with it. Suggestions, comments,

I'm using a D70 - that's all i could afford - and i'm very happy with it.....would love to upgrade but food comes first.

The 30D is without question the very best camera I have ever owned, and I have owned several very nice film based and digital cameras.

Granted you pay for it, I owned a digital rebel XT and av evolt E-500 (olympus) and of the two the olympus was better... I then bought the 30D and Sold that evolt like it was stolen...

You will not go wrong with the 30D.

I have a sony Alpha 100, which is pretty much a konica minolta only better, wicked camera does everything i want plus more

I have a 350d from Canon (I think its the REbel pro or something...)

Works just fine for me, since i still use my Contax 35mm for a lot of my images. I also use my Holga for fun, and sometimes I get 'better' images with that than with the Eos.

I do need more lenses though. I got a great deal on 2 flashes and an IR remote from B&H photo, better for action and fill lighting.

I'm using the 350 / Rebel XT as well.
Got a Sigma 15-30, a Tamron 28-75 2,8 (my fav) and a Canon 75-300 USM III.

And today I got the Speedlite 430 EX to brighten my days.

I would like to upgrade to a 30 though, but I'll most likely wait for quite some time yet.. my wallet flaps in other ways that camera gear as well...
