Recently redesigned my website and I thought I'd post it here for comments.

It's a personal site really, but I've used it to post all sorts of AI resources too.

Well, I like the layout ( a nice variant of the boxed kind ), the code validates,
the color scheme works...

It is overall a bit cluttered, but not too much so.
I'd really wanted to click that small dna image to the right of the home page... but it doesn't get any larger,
I guess.

Well, that's it for now,
so long,

Thanks for the links, though I think the comment about tables for layout is slightly harsh. The original design for the site used positioned divs for the sidebar and content. This worked fine in Firefox but blew up in Explorer. Pages with content which was wider than the content div (on the right) were displayed fine in FF but with the sidebar above the content in IE. I tried *everything* to get this to work but with no luck. In the end I grudgingly went back to using a very simple layout table to contain the header, sidebar and content - that's only three cells!

The forums are table based because they're skinned phpBB. There's no way I'm recoding the entire template for that!

Anyway, I agree with what you're saying, but in real life it just didn't work out!

Dan
