Who is with me? Seriously. I've been on this thing since version 6, when i switched from PaintshopPro. That was one of the first things i noticed about PS, the bad antialiasing. And it didnt change at all. So there, i've said it. Every time i look at an image, i can always see if it was made with photoshop or not. Seriously, even plain old windows does a better job at antialiasing fonts for instance. Plus, i'm a bit sick of being forced to Macintosh my way around my PC every time i open PS - a proper mouse has two or three buttons, not 1! From magazine reviews it doesn't feel that "superior" anymore. Finally it is definitely bloatware. Everything Adobe is bloatware. I've realized that since i started using Foxit Reader for .pdf's instead of Acrobat. I'm considering changing back to PSP. This was just a rethorical brainstorm. I now consider photoshop as a program which obscures functionality in a way to force the creation of an elite photoshop user community. It's a win-win relation. Elite users get to feel knowledgeable. Adobe makes sure they can't use other programs, and then it actually sells it to the companies they will or do work for. Casual image editing users are then recommended to use the trimmed down version. And maybe i'm a bit unsatisfied because they Adobe bought Macromedia. This globalization thing has its whatnots.
