We can't change much of the Director movie any more, actually... but it's an idea if you can easily integrate flash movies with a Director 8.5 project. |

kuckus: If I had seen this a day ago i could have tried it on a laptop that i recently popped on a codec pack, but if its worth anything I'm pretty sure the standard MPEG4 you mentioned will play on a fresh install of win 2k. |

if i recall correctly, back when i was building director projects in college, we used QT, and included an installer on the disc. we also included a script to check for QT, and if it wasn't there, it would prompt the user and/or pop up the installer or something. i may be off here though, as the last time i used director was a few years back |
