Discussion for: The Dark Side of Christmas entries.

you're just not havening the xmas spirit, there isn't a slimie sad enough...

First thought...

I'm a bit hesitant to post my attempt, what with the flood of entries this month. But what the heck, right?



Executed with my characteristic lack of artistry.

I'm open to tips and suggestions.

(I decided not to go with my original idea, which was not really fit for prime time. Apologies to Lacuna.)

Looks like you're all entering in the discussions thread. Does that mean we discuss them in the entries thread ?? Anyway .. I guess you've all forgotten me by now .... but I still pop by occasionally, and I couldn't resist this one .. being a bad Xmas person !! (and having access to a few old bits of photostock thjat seemed to just WANT to be used for something Xmassy).

trib: I just posted here first to let my sig sit for a while to see what I thought about it. Seeing as it still sucks, I guess I'll go post it in the entries thread.

And I think you have a transparency problem with your sig there...

Yep - it was a 10 minute throw up to see if I could still remember how to animate .. sheesh ... it's been a long time eh?? ... is that one any better?

I can still see the box... if you're doing this in ImageReady, the key is to make sure that the background color layer is turned off (and you have the background color set as the matte value).

Trib: "a 10 minute throw up" was pretty close to what I experienced when I saw that entry of yours.

Righto you 'orrible lot the grumpy lady who started this competition is moving house and so has instructed me to introduce a guest judge for this month: ME!!

You have an extra day to get your entry posted in the other thread so use it wisely. Pour all your hangovers and indigestion and sprout-related flatulence into things. I want to see 96% more bile, piss and vinegar - not necessarily in that order.

No dawdling there are sigs to be made!!

if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

The competition candle burns low and with only an hour or so to go we only have 3 entries so everyone gets a prize. Can you let such a spirit of good sportsmanship triumph with such a competition? We'll see

Hrmmm, I was operating under the assumption that these went for a month each. Just didn't have time earlier what with the holidays.
