Ok, I know the challenge spirit has been , well, not exactly dead, but not feeling well. So, here`s the challenge:
Take an axiom, phrase, or favorite saying and make it visual.
No excuses. Stop floggin the log, surfin the blogs and knock the dust off your image editor.
I`ve posted this challenge at a couple of other boards, also so we`ll see what`s what.
For instance :
Don't consider this a real contribution (I'm not that lazy), but when I read the challenge, this just popped into my head:
I'll make up for my flippancy later.
I didn't play all that much, but I remember having a fondness for a crapload of mana (usually provided by many of each of the "Urza's" cards) and ... oh I think it was a red 'fireball' card or something, which basically just hit for however much mana you stuff into it. I liked artifacts, too. My brother put together a really nice artifact-packed deck once. Actually I think it was the same deck - would just collect mana and fight with artifacts until the one or two fireball cards came up, then it was usually instant winnination.
Yeah, red has all the pumpable attack cards, like fireball. The Shivan Dragon, however, was the end all be all of pumped death--like a flying fireball that doesn't go away! I had a red and black deck with weenie creatures, fireballs, lightning bolts, fork lightning, etc. It was a thing of beauty.
I also had a green deck (despite my love of death and destruction, green was my favorite color) designed specifically to take out artifacts...
Most of my cards are sitting in the attic at my parents' house back in New York... including my beta Lich.
I usually played with 2-colour deck. Black/green, black/white, or white/blue. No real focus on a theme. My buddy eventually settled on a library killer deck. Before you knew it, half of your library was in your hand and you were taking massive damage as a result. It was actually kind of fun trying to combat a library killer.
Usually more than enough (let's not forget wrath of god, armageddon, shatterstorm, nevinrals (?) disk, similacrum, counterspell, deflection, unsummon, pacifism, and the list goes on...)
Wolf photo ( i have a few kicking around, a few thousand).
Door photo - from my trip to Italy this summer (Florence).
Half-ass composite - Photoshop CS2.
Axiom who knows (but it did find its way in my sig..from T.Williams)

You need to have a place to upload it to on the web. There are plenty of free image hosting services, just google it. Then attach it via BB code to the board.
just to clarify - 'attach' on a discussion board usually means that you can upload it straight to the board. In this case, you will have to upload to your host, and link to it with the UBB code you see to the left as you post.
(and uh...I've still been trying to no avail to come up with something for this...)
You need to insert the URL of your image in between img UBB tags, such as:
[img ]http://www...[/img ] - without the spaces after "img " and "/img " of course
Unfortunately, the URL you put within your "code" tags does not point to an image but to a page, so choose the picture you want to show, right-click on it, get its properties and thus its full URL.
Additionally, the "code" tags are to insert code in your post, not images.
Linking to a wbepage with your images on it is certainly fine too - in that case all you have to do is type the URL with no tags around it - http://www.dofoto.net/vision/0308522386725_2.htm and it will be clickable.
lol - you've posted the thumbnail?? If you check ImageShack again, you'll find it can generate a thumbnail that will link to the full size image. Unfortunately, it seems you've posted only the thumbnail itself.
The correct code will include [url] tags enclosing the [img] tags.
The method you've used is good for posting full size images, but ImageShack don't like direct posting of images...

OMG I'm glad I'm not the only Magic player here. It was such an obsession for me, lots of $$$.... finally sold my whole bunch for just under $1000.
Kept all the decks though, still play with my kids from time to time.
