Deep within the burning bowels, through the igneous nightmare of the lower cells and onward to the lightless passages of the archive repository, such things of which only the most twisted minds might conceive do roam. On a quiet night, from the southern ramparts above the Philosopher's halls, one might hear the faint echo of alien voices seemingly eminating from the numerous potholes across the surrounding plains - stifled howls, haunting song, or the gutteral growling of some unseen and unimaginable beastie. Yes, beneath and within the confines of this great place, more wonderous and terrifying creatures and contraptions than have been dreamed of may be found... if one is unlucky enough to stumble upon them! Wander deep and wide by all means, but beware the infernal contraptions and tortured souls, and the animated remains of hapless others who in their turn did meet their fate in search of great wonders. Tread with care where you might dare, for even time itself has no defence against the space-warping madness beyond the known - eternity is a twitch away...
