[/quote] I agree with your sentiment, of course, but my previous statement is an important one, and applies to your statement as much as the other side - A theory and a fact are not mutually exclusive things. Theories require facts to exist - without tested evidence to support it, it would be a hypothesis. The "theory" of evolution is the part that ties together all the "facts" of evolution. So like I said - it *is* a theory. And a it is a fact. And the fact that it's a theory does not mean that anyone is unsure, or that the evidence is not contradictory, or any other such thing. I wish as much that people would understand the meaning of the word theory as much as I wish they understood evolution...
