I'm usually the last to discover these sort of things but just in case..... =) So there I was zoomed in at 1600% using the eraser in pencil mode at 1 pixel ...using the 'shift' key to erase vertically or on the horizontal, one line at a time. (if you will) Then I discovered that if you simply click on 1 pixel then move the cursor down as far as you like then hold down the shift key and then click again.... the entire line is erased in one fell swoop. Could be my imagination but it seems to give me a better idea of the changes especially if you use "New Window for" If that's a clear as mud the only other thing similar I can think of is a standard windows point and click...if you're in 'Explorer' (still file manager to me) and faced with a continuous group of a dozen files you want to select you'd, click the first file.... hold down shift and click the bottom file and presto... they're all selected. Same thing with all the pixels in a row. The only twist with this is that it also works on the diagonal. Have I made any sense at all here? Anyway... carry on. ___________________________________________________________________________ "I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying that I approved of it." Mark Twain
