Very diligent ^^ DL-44 you've talked me into it
The first three photos of the docks were taken a year or two ago. I quite often take the dock road route on my journey home from my Ma's to my place and I love stopping off to marvel at the huge old warehouses. These date back hundreds of years to a time when the port of Liverpool was a very busy place.
I'm planning to go inside some of these places soon to take some more shots, I'm still waiting for permission from the Docks and Harbour Board.

Also a very industrious time for all the creatures raising or preparing to raise familys too. I did not notice the eggs untill I loaded the photos into the computer. Last year they raised five signets.

DL, those images are just f***** brilliant, as is the presentation; we might have to gang up and get ya reduced to exibitor status only

AS an old, well aging, powder monkey, I especially liked #7 of the jammed drill steel. Looks like they wound it off, trying to pull back with the incorrect rotation... still, when they jam ya just gotta try what ya can.

Note to self... "try harder; must sort photos"

while I'm flattered, I know very well that many people here pretty consistantly have much higher quality photos than mine!

The photo you mention - that area is a several mile long stretch of unfinished highway. Unfinished for the last 30 + years that is. I recall at least a half a dozen of the drill shafts dotted throughout...

I should maybe qualify; I meant particularly with regard to the number and relevance to the weekly topic.

I agree that there are several members, Shi comes to mind immediately, that produce images of outstanding quality; us mere loonies can only dabble on the sidelines
