Creating the whole lens from scratch removes the necessity of 'recreating' anything to match the original, gives you greater control over all aspects of the color and texture, avoids the imperfect edges that become problemtatic with a photo like that, the glare, etc. A series of selections with fills and gradients is all it would take to make this from scratch. Just a thought... As for the colors - look fine to me. Not an 'ooh ahh' but doesn't need to be for this. Loading...
