I can't think of any German ones and the dictionary doesn't list any... but the English one has these other two: |

Yep, it seems pastel is the predominant shade of English Hexaguistics... um... Hexioms? Hexalect? |

Well, to be fair, words can only contain the upper 6 of the hex sequence. So of course they're gonna contain a lot of lighter shades. |

What would be more interesting, I think, would be to spread the letters out evenly over the spectrum. That is, you've got 256 values for red, green, and blue, right? Well, there are 26 letters in the English alphabet. That's almost ten per letter--if we multiply the position of the letter in the alphabet by ten (and make "z" 255) then every three letters will form a color: |

Suho1004: I can see through your evil plan to hinder people's masculinity. The "Welcome to the Asylum" starts with a very masculine pink |

Indeed it is a masculine pink! Never have I seen a pink that makes me want to suddenly crush beer cans on my forehead like this one! |

That leaves you with numbers rangingas high as 9ZLDR, or it's nearest alpha equivilant, ZLDR, which is a maximum colour range in hex of 1956FF. The English language, considered as base 36, contains very low levels of red. Mind you, it's a damn long list of words. |

LOL - I love the way you listed them vertically, just in case we didn't believe it was a long list. |

I reckon you should be converting these into notes, too. I have a theory that it's the right combination of notes that opens the big gate out front... O.o |

Incidentally the primary antagonist in my novel speaks in colours (he's a squid), so this could turn out very useful. Very useful indeed. |
