In that process I warned clients to backup their important mail ect. To my surprise only 1 person actually failed to do so and is in need of mail on my old server. I had, unfortunately, closed my account with said server just a few days before I was informed. I contacted my old server people and asked if they could jump on my old server and pull mail from a specific account. They said that was an impossible feat unless I re-opened my account with them paying $150 to set up the dedicated server again. Does this make sense to anyone? I thought it was pretty strange; I'm no IT guy but jumping into an old mail server and grabbing an email doesn't seem like a hard thing to do. Am I wrong? Loading...
