I'm probably way behind the curve on this one... but it does look as if it would be fun.

Check the video link 4th paragraph down.

Heh, I just read that article not 5 minutes ago. Pretty cool.
There's a Pacman game for the Playstation that kinda had the same idea. You couldn't go back and forth between the 2D and 3D world real time when you wanted to, but there were pieces of the game in 2D and pieces in 3D.

I'm waiting for the game that lets you go between 10 dimensions (like he mentions at the end)

That's pretty cool. I'd say there are a lot of possibilities that haven't yet been explored - the problem is that most are not particularly easy to sell as an idea. Even some good ideas are so poorly realised, they dropped off the radar back in the days of the ZX; partially poor design, mostly lack of computing power. I remember having some bizarre and obscure titles on my old Atari.

Looking forward to further excursions into the realm of transdimensional gameplay...

Did you guys check out the link at the end of that article to the instructional video? That is some mind boggling stuff.

Yeah - I got a little too into it, and accidentally folded myself through a higher dimension to become... myself. I am not going to be here yet, but I was now, and could possibly not be.

Actually, I was mad about the whole 'ten dimensions' thing as a kid. I think I lost a few brain cells as a result.

Thanks for this link - at last I begin to grasp the concept! I am not there quite yet but I can definitely work from here

Best advice I can give you is that if you should find yourself traversing an ultra-dimensional manifold, don't attempt to pick your nose... what with the loss of third-dimensional limitations and all, there's no telling what sort of injury you could cause yourself. O.O

So that's where Timothy Leary went to meet up with his brother Really Leary.
