That looks like fun, but I understand what you mean. Perhaps though, its shelf-life isn't as important as an exemplary application of such a technology. As soon as I saw it, it made me think of all the hype about 'Virtual Reality'. The implementation of this sort of technology would allow a pretty amazing level of personal interactivity to a fully simulated environment, wouldn't it? Just imagine if your World of Warcraft* avatar's expressions and gestures aped your own, directly. Wow.
