As a matter of fact I don't use any of these hip personnal pages. For [random] news, I have my feeds in my mail client, and check www.popurls.com ( one of the many mashup from Digg, Reddit, Newsvine, Youtube, Flickr, ... ) For weather forecast, I saved Olso's forecast in my speedDial, I see it everytime I press Ctrl+T. If I want the forecast for another place in the world , all I have to do is to enter "wf CITY, COUNTRY" in my address bar as I bookmarked a weather forecast site and gave it the nickname "wf".
