It involves a Police shooting in Vancouver of a few days ago that left one man dead. A less than desirable outcome for all involved certainly and this is not about the right or wrong of it all? but rather how a spokesman for the Vancouver Police Department described the expired individual. Explaining how the suspect, swinging a chain with a padlock on the end it, knocked out one officer and injured another before a third officer shot and killed the assailant....the spokesman went on to say that; [b]pepper spray doesn?t work well on [b][i]goal oriented[/i][/b] individuals.[/b] [b]Goal oriented individuals[/b] ! WTF is that all about? Someone swinging a chain trying to take your head off is goal oriented ? Well technically yes?perhaps but I don?t think so. Some one trying to loose 50 pounds is goal oriented. Saving money for that trip..that car that computer that? whatever, is a Goal Oriented. . Swinging chains at cops doesn?t make the cut. Can't say somebody just lost it or was out of their mind...no... they are now goal oriented.
