Hello all,

I am revamping this section of the FAQ with my newly acquired Linux tidbits : http://www.ozoneasylum.com/5097

Currently, the subtopics of Linux read :

But I am having a hard time at moving, deleting, or otherwise renaming FAQ entries. Is it possible? If not, can someone help?
I am willing to make a kickstart guide out of the FAQ section, because I find my Ubuntu is a killer OS and I want to open up doors to others.

hi argo,

the subtopics of faqs are always ordered alphabetically, there's nothing much you can do about that.

renaming and moving is handled via the 'admin' page linked to from the very bottom of the faq pages. all our mad sci's have the power to rename pages, so if there's anything you want renamed there should be people around to help. we even had a page dedicated to requests like that, let me check... yeah, here: Need an FAQ renaming?

as a librarian I can change the 'parent' entry of faqs - just did that for the three under the "where can I get help" entry.

Turns out that Linux has a lot to do with the web in many ways : as a server OS of course.
Then as an inspiration for many web specific features (like urls/uris).

But also, as the web platforms allows more freedom of expression, therefore allowing users to compare different options,
it has served the faster growth of the Open Source community. One gem out of the hundreds made open source : Firefox.

So the "starter FAQ" will serve a nice purpose and is coming together nicely.
