hey inmates,

i was wondering if anyone here does magic tricks. I personally have a soft spot for any trick involving playing cards. Maybe we can trade some ?
I just thought I could share some of mine, maybe the one or other inmate is an amateur magician...you never know

My father used to do card tricks. He learned to do them when he was in the Army. He had dozens he could do and after giving a ten or fifteen minute demonstration, he'd shuffle the cards and ask "Anyone want to play some poker?" No one ever did.

Your third trick reminds me of one he used to do. He would pull the four jacks from the deck and tell me that they were bank robbers and I was the lookout. I would insert each jack into a different place in the deck (one on each floor of the bank) and when I would whistle, all four jacks would run to the top floor of the bank. He could also make them run to the bottom floor. Then he would do the trick again and this time I would place each jack face up into the deck and when I would whistle all four jacks would be at the top.

hyperbole: i know how to perform your fathers trick....except for the part where you put all jacks faced up into the deck. i need to see something like this in order to figure it out.
i learned most of my tricks just by watching these youtube videos over and over and over again. (though meanwhile, there are tons of tutorials online)
