He had dozens he could do and after giving a ten or fifteen minute demonstration, he'd shuffle the cards and ask "Anyone want to play some poker?" No one ever did. Your third trick reminds me of one he used to do. He would pull the four jacks from the deck and tell me that they were bank robbers and I was the lookout. I would insert each jack into a different place in the deck (one on each floor of the bank) and when I would whistle, all four jacks would run to the top floor of the bank. He could also make them run to the bottom floor. Then he would do the trick again and this time I would place each jack face up into the deck and when I would whistle all four jacks would be at the top. . -- not necessarily stoned... just beautiful.
