To imitate the gmail effect I included a hidden iframe and passed the upload request to a page in the hidden iframe and when its loaded had the page in the iframe echo out javascript that would give an uploaded alert. Its working pretty fine for now but I was wondering how to implement a simple upload status bar that woudl progress or somehow to show upload progress ... anyone have any ideas on how to do this please do share guys
