Topic: Request for input on some regex edge cases (Page 1 of 1)

I've blogged this but only gotten responses from two other developers. Basically, I'm trying to make a point to the ECMASript committee to change something in the spec (now that they're going to make some spec changes for ES45 in any case), and want input from as many developers as possible to try to get some weight behind my argument.

So, please have a look at WebGraphics: A quick JS quizz for anybody who think they know regex, think about it for a while, and answer what you think the correct behaviour should be.



I've deliberately tried to avoid stating my opinion in that blog entry. I'm writing a blog entry about the whole problem actually explaining my position and reasoning, that should be finished next week.
