But I'll tell you what I think is wrong. 1) the background - use a blank/transparent background 2) the type doesn't fit, it's too big and it isn't stylish 3) the stylized lens is too stylized, it isn't recognizable and the overly detailed earth in the center is just unnecessary and imo doesn't go with the theme I don't see why you need a new logo for that site anyway. And the one you have here wouldn't fit anywhere :S If you don't like the current logo I suggest you remove the picture from it and move the text around a little so that it's on one line. Maybe add a small graphical element somewhere.
