I have a flash file that I'd like to play on my 'puter, but I don't want to have to load it up in my browser. I know that there are (allegedly) stand alone players, but I can't seem to find them. I have searched the Adobe site, but all I can come up with are the regular installers. These apparently only install the browser plug-in. Anyone have any advice? |

Thanks, zavaboy. One question, though: have you used this yourself? I'm a little wary of downloading and installing an exe on my system that I am not completely sure about, and I have no idea if this site is trustworthy or not. |

The standalone that comes with the latest Flash is probably best. |

The problem is that I want it to load up in a relatively small window, and I don't want to have to shrink my browser to that size. I usually only have one browser window open at a time, with a whole crapload of tabs. I suppose I could open another browser entirely, but it just seems annoying. |

I don't see how Opera's MDI would be more useful than any other engine, properly utilized. |
