Our recent discussion on Guru's Network -- No activity? got me to wondering about what has happened to two other sites I used to like visiting.
This is all that remains of Breedart
Photoshop Guru's forum has now become this
Sometimes you wake up and it seems like your world gets a little bit smaller.

They are waiting to take us into the severed garden
you know how pale and wanton, thrillful comes death
in the strange hour
unannounced, unplanned for
like a scary over-friendly guest you've brought to bed.

Those who look for monsters should look to it that
they do not become monsters. For when you gaze
long into the abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.

And again, with my stubborn positivity, I'll inject this thought in your thread :
What about we identify why that "kind" of websites disappeared from the web, and use it to adapt around?
What about we benefit the free niche(s) instead of simply witnessing it's emptiness?

Chaos can be turned into beautiful things, for "all is illusion" according to Buddah, and we have great minds around
capable of thinking a great new "skin" for this reality.

I think you are reading more into my post than I intended argo navis. I am simply wondering if any asylumite has any information as to why these two sites have changed so much. I know there are inmates who subscribe to both these forums or at least they used to, so they may have more information about the change.

For instance I have since learned that PSG changed ownership recently from Mark to (I think) Gaussian, at that time though it was still a Photoshop forum.

Gaussian sold PSG a few weeks ago. I`m told (via e-mail) that the PSG archives are still there, but they want to focus on "football graphics"? now.
Not sure what that means.
As for Breedart, Can`t tell ya. I was never a regular there.

Thanks db. I'll be asking a few people on Deviant Art if they know what happened at Breedart. It seem to remember they had some good tutorials there that I know can't find.
