From the picture of the damage to your car, I would say that was a fawn, less that a year old. Even a small deer can do a lot of damage to your car. I've hit three deer over the last twenty years and even going less than 20mph, one of them crushed the entire side of the car. After the third deer, our insurance company cancelled our policy and our oldest daughter called me "Bambi killer" for a while. Back in the '70s I was driving through Washington state and a flock of ducks flew in front of my car. I hit one and it did about as much damage to the car as the deer did to yours. . -- not necessarily stoned... just beautiful.
