One reason atheists and theists (Hopes to avoid troll bridges...) do not get along is it seems to me that theists have all kinds of religious nonsense that get in the way of making the world a better place. Religions will never all work together and continue to split people into groups. Atheists can adapt to the situation as it changes without being held back by doctrine written centuries ago. There is less of a divide by philosophy as to who is right and wrong.
