Watched a terrific program by Nova earlier tonight about the ID debate in Dover, Colorado. Terrific stuff. I absolutely loved the part about the researcher who pored over several drafts of "Of Pandas and People," a textbook central to the court case in which defendants were insisting ID was not creationism repackaged, and found the two drafts between which the term "creation" was clearly and undeniably searched-and-replaced with the term "intelligent design," and "God" with "intelligent agent" -- a change that occurred right after the Supreme Court ruled that creationism cannot be taught in school. Talk about an embarrassing smoking gun. There's also a lot of really great content on evolution science. If you can catch it locally, do. Otherwise, it looks like the whole thing will be available online here on the 16th.
