Now, please don't go poking around in the Asylum's reactor room - radiation isn't just all about heat, light, and ionising energy. A flock of birds is technically a [i]radiation[/i], as is an unpleasant smell (though I'd challenge you to photograph that) by dint of aromatic particles [i]radiating[/i] from the source. The term radiation can be applied to the migration of organisms between geographical locations, to dust from a blast, and to, well, light and heat too; so broad is the definition that you'd be hard pressed not to perceive radiation(s) everywhere in your day-to-day life.
